Explore the Rhodian cuisine
Greek cuisine is rich in authentic flavours and aromas!
It has a history of about 4000 years, with special characteristics based on pure and unique quality products of the Greek land. Its gastronomic secrets are: quality fresh ingredients, delicate use of aromatics, the famous Greek olive oil and simplicity.
We suggest you try the traditional Pitaroudia!
Unlike the small chickpea fries the size of a meatball in other regions of Greece and certainly a far cry from Egyptian falafel, the Rhodian version calls for large, thick stuffed pies.
They are found, in various versions, all over the island. Chickpea pie is by far the national dish of Rhodes.
